Angela’s Rooms, like the restaurants, are designed to put our people and the planet first – and always with the future disposability of the materials in mind.

ABOUT THE ROOMS.

Angela's Rooms are situated above the restaurant looking out over Margate's harbour. There are three rooms, each with an en-suite shower room, and are furnished with the same ethos that we apply in the restaurant – to leave as small a footprint on the environment going forward as possible.

We have used mycelium grown lamps, re-dyed waste wool rugs, cork floors, handmade wallpaper, recycled and bio-plastic furniture and even bone china cups made using waste fish bones from the restaurant.

All rooms have sea views, king size beds and en-suite shower rooms.....oh and stairs to get to them!

Once booked you are guaranteed a table reservation at both Angela's and Dory's (on the days they are open), please email us and we will arrange a time for you. We do NOT provide breakfast, however we will provide you with some of Angela’s favourites already in your room upon arrival. This may include freshly baked bread, yoghurt, compote - and of course some of Angela's house cured fish, plus a few seasonal surprises.

We are happy to provide a travel cot for an infant and Room 3 can accommodate up to two children under 10 for an additional fee.

Check-in is available from 12pm (noon) on the day of arrival and check-out is by 10am on the day of departure, on many occasions when we can offer a later checkout so please ask us and we will do our best for you.

Room One is on the first floor and consists of a large room with a balcony that opens up with views over the piazza on the Margate sea front. It uses grown mycelium light shades, bioplastic furniture and recycled plastic tables alongside a king size bed and en-suite shower room.

Room Two is decorated with hand dyed wallpaper from the wonderful Margate-based print maker Natascha Maksimovic. It has large Georgian proportions with windows to match, king size bed, en-suite showers and views overlooking the harbour in Margate Old Town.
